Do you have old, interesting, or valuable books that you would like to have appraised? Our antiquarian bookstore offers you a professional service to determine the value of your book treasures.
This is how we work:
- Contact us via the online form, by e-mail or by telephone and give us initial information about your books and/or send us pictures of the books on the shelf or of title pages.
- Appraisal of your books: After making an appointment, we can appraise your books in our store. Alternatively, we also offer an on-site service for larger collections.
- Valuation and offer: After the appraisal, you will receive a verbal or written appraisal from us stating the estimated value of your books. On request, we can also make you a purchase offer.
Cataloging service for your collection
We are also happy to carry out a professional cataloging of your books. This service includes:
- Detailed recording of your books: Written recording of all relevant information such as author, title, year of publication, condition and special features.
- Valuation: Determination of the replacement or liquidation value of individual works.
- Complete documentation: creation of a clear catalog of your collection.
Costs
- Verbal valuations in our store are free of charge if the books have no significant value, do not require more intensive research or are sold to us.
- On-site appraisals or more extensive appraisals are charged on an hourly or daily basis. We will inform you in advance of the costs incurred.
