Eigenartige Schrift des wichtigsten deutschen Chemiatrikers. 1689 war in England von Gideon Harvey unter dem Titel &#8220;The art of curing diseases by expectation&#8221; eine medizinische Schrift gegen den Gebrauch der Chinarinde erschienen. Dieses Buch wurde von vielen Autoren wegen seiner unwissenschaftlichen Aussagen kritisiert. Harvey, der ein streits\u00fcchtiger Zeitgenosse war liess sich auf die Fehden mit seinen Kollegen ein. Dies muss den damals schons sehr bekannten Stahl zur vorliegenden Satiere veranlasst haben.
