R\u00fcckentitel in brauner Tinte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"kommentar1\">VD17 23:231905N. &#8211; Nagler (Monogrammisten) 393, Nr. 9 und Hollstein (German) XXIX, Murer, Nr. 96. &#8211; Erste Ausgabe dieser lateinischen Fassung von &#8220;Historia del popolo fiorentino&#8221; von Leonardo Bruni aus Arezzo (1370-1444), besorgt von Sixtus Braun (1550-1614) aus D\u00f6beln, Stadtschreiber und Oberb\u00fcrgermeister in Naumburg. Auf ihn ist auf Bl. 3 verso ein Gedicht von Christianus Becmanus abgedruckt. Bruni, genannt Aretino, Staatskanzler von Florenz, war Humanist und ein Hauptvertreter der Renaissanceliteratur. Ihm sind verschiedene \u00dcbersetzungen aus dem Griechischen zu verdanken, z.B. Xenophons Hellenika unter dem Titel &#8220;Commentarius rerum graecarum&#8221;. Das vorlilegende Werk entstand 1410 als &#8220;Historia del popolo fiorentino&#8221;. Bruni setzte sich f\u00fcr die florentinische Sprache ein und war so ein Vorl\u00e4ufer der italienischen Sprachenfrage des 16. Jahrhundert. Die Druckermarke stammt von Christoph Murer(1558-1614), Sohn des Jos Murer, der 1583-86 in Strassburg t\u00e4tig war. &#8211; Einige Lagen stark gebr\u00e4unt, Einband gering fleckig. &#8211; Mit hs.
